LeccEcclesiae, the project developed by Artwork in conjunction with the Archdiocese of Lecce, lets visitors explore six magnificent ecclesiastical monuments with a single ticket: the Duomo with its crypt, the Palazzo dell'Antico Seminario with its splendid cloister and the chapel of San Gregorio Taumaturgo, the Museo d'Arte Sacra, the Basilica di Santa Croce and the churches of San Matteo and Santa Chiara.

LeccEcclesiae preserves, promotes and makes the city's main ecclesiastical assets accessible, guaranteeing – by means of a dedicated ticket – prolonged opening, efficient reception facilities, ensuring the best possible visiting experience.

An extraordinary place, a unique viewpoint for admiring Lecce and the Salento area from its tallest building, the bell tower of the Duomo. At 73 metres high, it is opening its doors to the public for the first time.

A visit to the bell tower in Piazza Duomo will now be possible because of the installation of a lift shaft inside the tower that will allow visitors to reach the third register of the building, where four balconies at a height of 43 metres offer a 360-degree view of the city and the Adriatic Sea as far as the Albanian coast.

Multimedia aids will be available for the curious to identify the main points of interest in the panoramic view, and ArtWork staff will provide assistance and security for visits, which will be arranged on a limited-entry basis.

I Misteri di Santa Croce project makes innovative use of the Basilica of Santa Croce with a ligthting presentation programme, using the automated lighting system inside the Basilica, blending technology with architecture, art, history and spirituality.

Opportuni supporti multimediali saranno a disposizione dei curiosi per riconoscere i principali punti di interesse del panorama, e gli operatori Artwork garantiranno assistenza e sicurezza alle visite che si svolgeranno co ingresso contingentato.
